02 / 13The Premise

Local life still runs on a stack of eight different apps.

2014

One app per vertical was a feature. Uber for rides. Postmates for delivery. Instacart for groceries. Households had time to install and learn each one.

2026

A single household now juggles eight separate marketplaces to get a ride to a doctor, prescriptions picked up, groceries restocked, and the dog walked. Each one has its own auth, payment, rating system, and incident process.

The bottleneck is no longer building local supply. It's stitching it together.

03 / 13Problem

Every household manages 8+ apps for things their neighbor could do.

Odd jobs
  • Fragmented trust. A 4.9 rating on TaskRabbit doesn't follow you to Rover.
  • Narrow supply. A provider with 6 free hours can't pick up groceries and walk a dog in the same trip.
  • No scheduled rail. Recurring tasks — dialysis transport, weekly yard pickup — are shoehorned into on-demand UX.
  • Age-gated chaos. Alcohol, cigars, and cannabis each live in their own siloed, half-compliant apps.
04 / 13Why Now · 2026

The market is consolidating, and nobody owns the local layer.

Incumbents are stuck protecting single-vertical margins. The opening is a horizontal, neighborhood-scoped marketplace that the existing gig labor force can supply on day one.

08 / 13Wedge Strategy

Boards first. Matched marketplace second.

We launch every metro as a public asks-and-offers board — Craigslist density, with verified identity and escrowed payments. Liquidity is the moat; the matched-app experience layers on top.

Day 0
City board live

/asks and /offers go up per metro with city-specific SEO.

Day 14
First matched ask

Verified providers claim from the board for a fixed take rate.

Day 60
100 providers / metro

Recurring jobs (dog walking, yard) anchor weekly supply.

Day 120
On-demand rides

Categories with the highest standing supply graduate to dispatch.

09 / 13Business Model

Take rate on every match. No subscriptions to start.

Marketplace fee
15% / 10%

15% on on-demand, 10% on scheduled & recurring. Provider keeps tips 100%.

Age-gated premium
+5%

Alcohol, cigar, cannabis pay a compliance margin — ID verification + jurisdictional gating built in.

Payment rails
0% spread

Card + crypto via CoinPay. We pass processor cost through; no rail arbitrage on day one.

Future expansion: provider tools subscription, fleet pricing for healthcare partners, and SaaS for municipal senior-transport programs.

10 / 13Moat

Local liquidity compounds. Apps don't.

Cross-category reputation

A 4.9 from grocery runs builds the trust score that lets a provider take medical-transport jobs. No competitor offers this.

Neighborhood-level supply graph

We index supply at the zip-and-block level. Every recurring job is a permanent capacity slot competitors can't see.

SEO funnel via city boards

Asks/offers per metro produce indexable inventory that drives organic acquisition incumbents can't replicate without a board.

Compliance as a feature

Age-gating, jurisdiction rules, and escrow are core platform — not duct tape on top of a rides app.
